Multi-User Mode in Inquira Labs

Multi-user mode is the recommended configuration for Inquira Labs, offering robust role-based access control to ensure the right users have the appropriate permissions.

Setting Up Multi-User Mode

1. Administrator Account
   • The first account you create in multi-user mode is the administrator account.
   • This account has the highest privilege level and access to all system functionalities, including logs, analytics, and settings.
   • Once the administrator account is set up, you will be logged out to log back in with your new credentials.
2. Enable Multi-User Mode
   • Navigate to the system settings and toggle on the “Enable Multi-User Mode” option.
   • You’ll then be prompted to create the admin account by entering a username and password.

User Roles and Permissions

Inquira Labs provides predefined roles to control access and functionality:

1. Admin
   • Full access to all aspects of the system.
   • Can manage users, workspaces, system settings, logs, and analytics.
2. Manager
   • Access to all workspaces and can manage workspace properties, including user roles within workspaces.
   • Cannot modify global settings related to LLM, Embedder, or Vector database configurations.
3. Default User
   • Limited to sending chats in workspaces they are explicitly added to.
   • Cannot view or edit other workspaces or access any system-wide settings.
